10 Heart Shapped Sky Lanterns
Product Description
Sky Lanterns are a wonderful way to celebrate and ideal for special occasions such as weddings. Sky Lanterns are also known as Prayer Lanterns and Wish Lanterns these are often used in celebration for special events and occasions with magical effect.
Those who have been to East Asia most likely have seen these Sky Lanterns glowing up in the sky like strange stars, floating majestically on the breeze. Sky Lanterns are often used to celebrate the Chinese New Year and other special dates.
The most stunning display of Sky Lanterns can be seen in Chang Mai during one of their festivals. It is traditionally considered good luck to release Thai lantern with the belief that misfortune will fly away with the lantern. With modern day use the wish lanterns are released with a prayer that bad luck, worries and sins are carried away with the light of the lantern.
Sky Lanterns are a great way to celebrate the most special of occasions.
These are not toys and should be treated with care and consideration for those around you. Do no release in a built up area, make sure there is enough hot air in the lantern before releasing (other wise it will float sideways into what ever is there). Two people are required to light, hold and release the lantern.
