Important Notice Regarding Delivery.

• Please note that Yodel (previously DHL UK) require a signature upon delivery. Please make sure that someone is available at the delivery address to sign upon receipt of your order.
• No Refund will be given if you request a Next Day delivery and no one is available to sign for the order when Yodel attempt delivery.
• Wrong address given – excess charge . If an item is returned to us due to the incorrect address being entered by the customer at the time of the order and it is requested that the item be resent, a further delivery charge will be required of £10 to cover the costs.
  • If the order is instead cancelled a refund will be issued less the original order delivery cost and the return to sender cost.

• Delivery method will be by Royal Mail or courier (DHL/Yodel) unless specified Next Day.
• Delivery charges of £4.50 and above are likely to be sent by courier.
• Please make sure that someone is available to sign for your delivery if sent by courier.

Non Mainland UK Delivery

Please note that this price will remain static unless you add an overweight item to your order, in which case you will be charged non-mainland UK delivery price plus the heavy item delivery price.

Non Mainland UK Delivery is post code based.  Please contact us if your address is mainland UK but shares the post code of non mainland UK.

Delivery Fees

You can keep a track of your delivery fees by going to your online Basket. This will give you a running total of your order plus delivery charge.
 

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

From 1st July 2007, all retailers of electrical goods must comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation.  This is a scheme to prevent all such waste being disposed of in general landfill sites and to promote recycling of components and materials. The legislation aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment by creating products with recycling in mind and encouraging reuse, recycling, and recovery of WEEE.

The consumer has a significant role to play in reducing the impact of waste electrical and electronic equipment on the environment, through re-using or recycling such articles.  Some of the components used in electrical and electronic equipment can contain hazardous substances that can damage the environment and present a risk to human health if not properly disposed of.

The crossed out wheelie bin symbol on products is to remind you that Waste Electrical and Electronic products, batteries and accumulators should not be disposed of with household waste.  If you are unable to re-use or recycle your article it should be disposed of at a civic amenity site/local authority recycling facilities.

Alternatively, a take-back service is operated by Wow eStores.  When you purchase a new electrical item from Wow eStores you can exchange an old similar item for recycling (eg a toaster for a toaster, or a similar small domestic appliance such as a kettle).  Wow eStores will then dispose of your product responsibly.

You have 30 days from date of purchase to return your old item to Wow eStores.  Customers wishing to return a WEEE item will have to pay for any costs incurred in returning the WEEE item back  to us.  Please contact us for the return address.

The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations

Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Wow eStores are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries.  You can return your waste batteries to our business premises in person, please contact us for the address.  Please do not put batteries in the post.

Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recycle.com.

Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and in some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points.  End users may find stores in their local area more accessible
